The “Festival of Lights” 2023 will take place in Berlin from October 6th to 15th. Berlin landmarks, sights, historic buildings and prominent places are illuminated in the evening hours. Admission is free. The motto of this year's edition is "Colours of Life". The illuminations can be seen daily during the festival from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The exact program for this year's edition of the festival has been published on the organizer's program page. As in previous years, the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin TV Tower, the Berlin Cathedral and Bebelplatz will be there. A total of 42 locations and over 85 light works of art and shows can be seen.

Many illuminations in the center of Berlin can be discovered during a walk through the city. There are also organized tours on foot, by bike taxi, by bus, by boat or by electric cab.
